  • The South African Revenue Service, where required in order to act on your behalf
  • Other professional advisers involved in your matter, such as your accountant or attorney, where you have asked us to work with them
  • Service providers who support our practice, such as our email, secure document storage and website hosting providers, who are bound to protect the information
  • Any person or authority where we are legally obliged to disclose it

How Long We Keep It

We retain records for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet the retention periods imposed by tax legislation, which in most cases require records to be kept for at least five years. Where information is no longer required for any lawful purpose, it is deleted or destroyed securely.

How We Protect It

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. This website uses an SSL certificate, so information submitted through it is encrypted in transit.

Your Rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

  • Request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you, and request access to it
  • Request that we correct or delete information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date or obtained unlawfully
  • Object to the processing of your personal information on reasonable grounds
